Šta treba da znate o esencijalnim uljima

Eterična ulja su mešavine isparljivih, biološki aktivnih jedinjenja dobijenih iz biljnog materijala destilacijom ili presovanjem. Eterična ulja zbog malih molekula i lipofilnosti kroz kožu veoma brzo ulaze u organizam. Da bi smanjili brzinu ulaska, eterična ulja na kožu nanosiš razrijeđena u biljnim uljima. Tako smanjujemo eventualna oštečenja kože do kojih može doći zbog nanošenja čistog eteričnog ulja na istu, sprečavamo nagli ulazak eteričnog ulja u organizam (neka ulja sadrže toksične sastavnice, i zbog naglog ulaska u organizam mogu izazvati neugodne nuspojave). Također, spora apsorpcija omogućava duže prisustvo terapeutskih komponenti u krvi, ili ciljano tkivo. Stoga, eterična ulja se gotovo nikada ne nanose nerazrijeđena na kožu!


Kako znati koje je kvalitetno ulje

Eterična ulja je nužno označavati latinskim nazivom roda (npr Thymus) i vrste biljke (npr. vulgaris).
Kvalitetno eterično ulje, na bočici ili popratnoj deklaraciji mora imati naznačeno i iz kojeg dela biljke je dobiveno i na koji način.


Na bočici, deklaraciji ili certifikatu moraju biti navedeni sledeći podaci:
1. Latinski naziv roda i vrste biljke
2. Deo biljke iz kojeg se dobija eterično ulje
3. Način dobijanja eteričnog ulja
4. Kemotip odnosno glavne hemijske sastavnice eteričnog ulja
5. Zemlja porekla biljnog materijala iz kojeg se dobija eterično ulje
6. Način uzgoja biljnog materijala
7. LOT broj
8. Rok trajanja


10 najčešće korišćenih ulja
Danas na tržištu možemo pronaći veliki broj aromaterapijskih ulja od kojih svako ima specifična lekovita svojstva. Potrebno je znati odabrati baš ono koje nam najbolje odgovara. Aromaterapija je grana komplementarne medicine, koja kontrolirano koristi eterična ulja, kako bi se uravnotežilo i unapredilo zdravlje tela, uma i duha.


1. Eukaliptus (Eucalyptus globulus ili Eucalyptus radiate)
Pomaže u lečenju dišnih problema, kao što su kašalj, prehlada i astma. Jača imunitet i otklanja napetosti u mišićima.


2. Čajevac (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Prirodno antigljivično ulje, dobro je za lečenje svih vrsta gljivičnih infekcija, uključujući vaginalne, preponske, kao i gljivične infekcije stopala i lišajeva. Jača imunitet.


3. Lavanda (Lavandula angustifolia ili Lavandula vera)
Korisno je za lečenje rana, opeklina i negu kože. Relaksira.


4. Metvica (Mentha piperita)
Upotrebljava se za lečenje glavobolje, bolova u mišićima, probavnih smetnji kao što su spora probava, zatvor ili nadutost.


5. Ruzmarin (Rosmarinus officinalis)
Podiže raspoloženje i jača imunitet, a služi i kao mentalni stimulans. Pomaže pri uklanjanju bolova u mišićima te potiče probavu.


6. Limun (Citrus limon)
Uspešno podiže raspoloženje, ali i opušta. Koristi se u lečenju rana i infekcija. Ujedno je i dobar osveživač prostora.


7. Ylang ylang (Cananga odorata)
Može smanjiti napetost mišića, pomaže pri relaksaciji. Jako je dobar antidepresiv.


8. Rimska kamilica (Anthemus nobilis)
Opuštajuće ulje, može pomoći kod teskobe i nesanice. Otklanja bol u mišićima i napetosti. Korisno je i u lečenju rana i infekcija.


9. Geranij (Pelargonium graveolens)
Pomaže uravnotežiti ženske hormone, a korisno je i za kožu. Deluje opuštajuće i podiže raspoloženje. Jedan je od boljih prirodnih antidepresiva.


10. Muškatna kadulja (Salvia sclarea)
Prirodno je sredstvo za ublažavanje bolova. Vrlo je opuštajuće i može pomoći kod nesanice. Učinkovito je i u balansiranju rada hormona.


Načini primene
Eterična ulja možete koristiti na tri osnovna načina: primjenom direktno na kožu, inhaliranjem ili gutanjem.
Kod svake ove metode postoji više načina primene. Moguće ih je primeniti lokalno pomoću obloga, sprejeva, kupke ili utrljavanjem u kožu.


NAPOMENE: 

- neka eterična ulja iritiraju kožu zbog svoga hemijskog sastava. Takva ulja potrebno je dodatno razrediti ili, još bolje, koristiti putem inhalacije. Način primene eteričnoga ulja zavisi šta želimo tretirati i kakav učinak planiramo postići.

- nega rana ili liječenje gljivičnih infekcija često uključuje lokalnu primenu. Učinke na raspoloženje možemo postići inhalacijom ili lokalnom primenom. Kod očekivanoga brzog delovanja inhalacija je znatno bolji izbor. Kupke s eteričnim uljima uključuju i inhalaciju i klasičnu lokalnu primenu.


Kupka
Pet kapljica eteričnog ulja dodajte u kadu napunjenu vodom. Promiješajte da se što bolje rasprši.


Parfemi
Koristite samo ulja koja su sigurna za kožu. Eterično ulje razredite vodom u razmeri 1:3 i ukapajte u ulje jojobe ili rafinirano kokosovo ulje.


Ulje za masažu
15 kapljica eteričnog ulja ulijte u 30 grama baznog ulja (može biti ulje, krema, losion ili melem) i promešajte.


Inhalacija
Ukapajte nekoliko kapi u raspršivač električnog difuzora ili na maramicu i udišite.
Za inhalaciju parom koristite sud s vrućom vodom, dodajte par kapi na površinu i inhalirajte.


Mere opreza
Od aromaterapije možeš imati mnogo koristi, ali neophodno je poduzeti i određene mere opreza prilikom rukovanja eteričnim uljima.

- Koristi samo preporučene količine. Ako sumnjate da ste upotriebili preveliku količinu ulja, popijte puno vode i duboko udahnite sveži vazduh.

- Pročitajte upozorenja na pakovanju eteričnih ulja. Neka od njih se ne smeju kombinovati s lekovima ili alkoholom.

- Drži eterična ulja dalje od očiju. Ako ulje dođe u dodir s okom, isperi većom količinom tople vode i zatraži savet od lekara.

Everything you need to know about essential oils

Essential oils are mixtures of volatile, biologically active compounds derived from plant material by distillation or pressing. Essential oils due to small molecules and lipophilic through the skin quickly enter the body. In order to reduce the rate of entry, apply essential oils to your skin diluted in vegetable oils. Thus, we reduce possible skin damage that can occur due to the application of pure essential oil to the same, preventing the sudden entry of essential oil into the body (some oils contain toxic components, and due to sudden entry into the body can cause adverse side effects). Also, slow absorption enables a longer presence of therapeutic components in the blood, or target tissue.


How to know what good oil is

Essential oils are necessarily labeled with the Latin name of the genus (eg. Thymus) and plant species (eg. vulgaris).
A quality essential oil, on a bottle or declaration must have indicated from which part of the plant is obtained and on what way.


The following information must be indicated on the bottle, declaration or certificate:
1. Latin name of the genus and species of the plant
2. Part of the plant from which essential oil is obtained
3. The method of obtaining an essential oil
4. Chemotype or the main chemical components of essential oils
5. Country of origin of the plant material from which essential oil is obtained
6. The method of growing plant material
7. LOT number
8. Date of Expiry


10 most commonly used oils

Today, we can find a large number of aromatherapy oils, each of them has specific medicinal properties. It is necessary to know how to choose the right one. Aromatherapy is a branch of complementary medicine that controls the essential oils in order to balance and improve the health of the body, mind and spirit.


1. Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus or Eucalyptus radiate)
It helps in the treatment of respiratory problems, such as cough, cold and asthma. Strengthens immunity and relieves tension in the muscles.


2. Cauliflower (Melaleuca alternifolia)
Natural antifungal oil is good for treating all kinds of fungal infections, including vaginal, overgrowth, and fungal infections of the feet and lichen. Strengthens immunity.


3. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia or Lavandula vera)
It is useful for treating wounds, burns and skin care. Relax.


4. Mintha piperita
It is used to treat headaches, muscle pain, digestive disorders such as slow digestion, constipation or inflammation.


5. Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
It raises mood and strengthens immunity, and serves as a mental stimulus. It helps to remove muscle pain and stimulates digestion.


6. Lemon (Citrus Lemon)
Successfully raises mood, but also relaxes. It is used in the treatment of wounds and infections. It is also a good freshener.


7. Ylang ylang (Cananga odorata)

8. Roman chamomile (Anthemus nobilis)

Methods of application

Essential oils can be used in three basic ways: applying directly to the skin, inhaling or swallowing.
For each of these methods, there are several methods of application. It is possible to apply them locally using coatings, sprays, baths or rubbing in the skin.


NOTES:

- some essential oils irritate the skin due to their chemical composition. Such oils should be further diluted or, better still, by inhalation. The method of applying essential oils depends on what we want to treat and what effect you plan to achieve.

- Wound healing or the treatment of fungal infections often involves local application. Mood effects can be achieved by inhalation or by local application. In the expected rapid action, inhalation is a much better choice. Baths with essential oils include both inhalation and classic local application.


Bath
Add five drops of essential oil to a tub filled with water. Stir them to scatter as nicely as possible.


Perfumes
Only use oils that are safe for the skin. Dilute essential oil with water in a ratio of 1: 3 and add to jojoba oil or refined coconut oil.


Massage oil
Pour 15 drops of essential oil into 30 grams of base oil (can be oil, cream, lotion or melt) and stir.


Inhalation
Pour a few drops into the diffuser of the electric diffuser or on the wipes and breathe.
For steam inhalation, use a hot water bowl, add a few drops to the surface and inhale.

Safety precautions
You can have many benefits from aromatherapy, but it is also necessary to take certain precautions when handling essential oils.

- Use only recommended quantities. If you suspect that you have used too much oil, drink plenty of water and deep breath in fresh air.

- Read the warnings on the essential oil package. Some of them may not be combined with medication or alcohol.

- Keep essential oils out of sight. If the oil comes into contact with the eye, rinse with a large amount of hot water and seek advice from a doctor.

What is buckwheat? / Sta je heljda?!

Sta je heljda?! Heljda je vrlo izbalansirana namirnica. Izuzetno je bogata proteinskim materijama. Sadrži vitamine B, E i P, minerale (kalcijum, gvožđe, fosfor, magnezijum, bakar) i esencijalne aminokiseline (lizin i triptofan). Heljda jača organizam i povećava telesnu toplinu, zbog čega je pogodna za zimsku sezonu. Iako se misli da je heljda žitarica, to nije tačno. U kulinarstvu heljda se smatra žitaricom zbog svoje hranjivosti,  botanički pripada kategoriji zeljastog povrća, a ponekad se ubraja i u voćke. Semenke heljde su po veličini slične semenkama pšenice, ali poseduju jedinstvenu trokutastu formu. Cvetovi heljde su vrlo aromatični, zbog čega privlače pčele koje ih koriste da bi napravile poseban med, koji ima tamnu boju, snažan miris i posebna lekovita svojstva.
